ORDERING SCHOOL LUNCHES
All school meals are ordered and and paid for through your Arbor (previously known as 360) account. If you would like your child to have a hot meal, please ensure that you have placed your orders by no later than Thursday, for the following week’s lunches. Before placing the order you will need to have paid money onto your Arbor account https://somerford-primary-school.uk.arbor.sc/?/home-ui/index/. If meals are not ordered online by the Thursday deadline, you will need to bring a packed lunch in for your child. The kitchen cannot provide meals for those that have not ordered as this impacts on their supply ordering and there will be a real danger of not having enough prepared food available to feed your child.

IS YOUR CHILD ENTITLED TO A FREE SCHOOL MEAL?
Although all children in infant classes (Reception, Year 1 or Year 2) will receive a free lunch meal, it is still important that you apply if you might be eligible. This is because, if your child is eligible, the school will receive £1,320 (2018-19) per pupil which is used to support the education of all pupils from lower-income families, to ensure that they get the same chances as other children. This can add up as lot of additional funding to a school and can be used to really help all children to achieve well as they grow older.
